Why We Created the Rochester Youth Filmmaking Initiative
Through Farrin, our Jamaican-American feature film rooted in Rochester, we wanted to create opportunities for the local community to engage with independent filmmaking beyond the screen. The Rochester Youth Filmmaking Initiative extends that mission by giving young people free, hands-on experience with industry professionals, helping them discover their creative potential and see how they can be part of the stories being told in their own communities.
