Farrin is On the Road!🚘
Winter Events Recap and Where We’re Headed Next

Over the past few months we’ve been focused on thinking of creative and engaging ways to keep this project moving forward, starting with our two community events that kicked off our “On the Road” series.
February: Pitching For Love
As the official kickoff for on the “On the Road,” Pitching for Love was a fun Valentine’s Day-inspired night for music and some serious wingmanning. Moreover, it was an opportunity for us to connect with the community, highlighting how we want people to experience Farrin.

Hosted at Littlefield, we have to say thank you to our DJs Kye the DJ, Romblay, MyWai as well as our community partners Connek Ja and The Content House.
March: Hear Me Out!
Hear Me Out, on the other hand, was catered toward our resident cinephiles. Cheyenne and Malea gave folks an opportunity to share their most controversial film opinions before getting an exclusive BTS about our film, its inception, and the journey so far (plus where we’re going) from our very own Danielle Fuller!

Special thank you’s and shout outs to Brooklyn favorite, Starr Bar for hosting us, our DJs Iiimaginaryfriends, Taylor Diamond, and Feeva, and our stellar community partners Conneka Ja and The Content House.

So, what is On the Road?
You may have seen our Instagram post explaining what exactly this series is, but we’re breaking it down here again for you in case you missed it.
“On the Road” is a series of 6 really awesome parties designed to directly support the making of our film, Farrin, which explores Caribbean migration and the diaspora. We’ve already got things underway with Pitching for Love in February and Hear Me Out last month, but with summer right around the corner we’re about to kick things into high gear.
While each stop will be unique, you can expect a blend of:
* Lots of dancing and great energy
* DJs from across the diaspora
* Usually some live storytelling and conversation
* Opportunities to directly support the film
What’s Next📍
We’ll be sharing more details soon, including upcoming cities, event formats, and ways to RSVP or support.
But for now, we can tell you that while we don’t have an event planned for April, it’s only so you can save your energy for our collab event on May 2 with FOMO at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre in Toronto!
